Mandara Cromwell

Keynote Presenter

Mandara Cromwell, DCM, is an American woman entrepreneur who is the CEO and President of Cyma Technologies. This spiritually based company produces her own inventions the AMI – Acoustic Meridian Intelligence devices. The AMI 750 was nominated for the Thomas Edison Award for Innovation in the Fields of Science and Medicine.

Long years of study and research inspired her to create Cyma Technologies in order to preserve the integrity of specific healing frequency patterns that were passed to her as a body of work from British osteopath, Dr. Peter Guy Manners.

In 2016, Ms Cromwell released the most fully researched frequency healing protocols in the United States using her own device in the form of ten channels on the AMI 750 device, named the Cyma 10.  She coined the term “Cymatherapy” in 2002, and used it to refer to “wave therapy” based on the work of German and British scientists. She has taken the work of Dr. Manners and his collaborative research team to new heights with the development of her “delivery system” the AMI devices and the continuing research of the Cyma 10 protocols found within the device.

In addition to her profit-making company, she is also the founder and board chair of ISTA—International Sound Therapy Association.  Since 2006, ISTA has been serving the field and sound therapy practitioners by producing annual conferences to draw new voices together in the field of sound science. She has provided community outreach in numerous American cities, while offering classes in therapeutic sound with both ancient and cutting-edge technology instruments. She currently co-chairs the national initiative created by ISTA called, “the Pain Free Living Campaign.” This project was designed to educate people and provide them with drug-free, non-invasive solutions for pain relief.

In 2017 Ms Cromwell produced “Cymatics: The Art and Science of Making Sound Visible,” where she revealed never-before-seen cymatic images of her own healing frequencies.  She acted as executive producer of a new short film, “dance divine” utilizing her “cymaglyphs” in a combination of dance, yoga and healing sound.

Ms Cromwell studies of art and Eastern philosophy led her to follow a spiritual path to India, which resulted in an introduction to sacred sound. Her life story has included many investigations into science which has now confirmed her spiritual experience.  Her book, both a memoir and spiritual self-help manual, “Soundflower—The Journey to Marry Science and Spirit,” will be released in 2019.

Ms Cromwell travels the US and abroad lecturing on sound as the medicine of the future.   She was invited by the Indian Cultural Ministry in 2013 to share her presentation, “The Art of Sacred Sound,” at the Sacred Art Symposium in New Delhi.  A frequent guest on radio and television programs, she demonstrates sound healing with both ancient instruments and her own innovative technology.  With all of her endeavors she still finds her greatest joy in being the grandmother of three.
